MANATEE EXCURSION

MANATEE TRIP	$100US per person PLUS $15US park fee per person

Journey with us just off the coast of the mainland, where we wait for manatees to surface. Begin your day at 8:45 am when you are picked up on the dock near the apartment. Heading south of Belize City by boat you will view the endangered West Indian Manatee in its natural habitat. Unfortunately you will not be able to get into the water with them.

You will then head over to Goff's Caye where you can snorkel and have a relaxing lunch under a shaded palapa. The picnic lunch usually consists of barbequed chicken, pasta salad, coconut rice, and brownies and fresh fruit for desert.

Beer and sodas are provided by the guides. This is a smorgasbord of great local cooking. Your next stop is at Coco Solo for more spectacular snorkeling! Sometimes we encounter a school of dolphins on the way. If we do, we will stop and let you snorkel with them. Our final stop is at the Island of Caye Caulker where you can browse the streets, shop for souvenirs or take a swim before heading back to San Pedro.
