Fishing
here is just great and the variety of experiences that you can have
is wonderful. You do not need to bring anything with you. All
the equipment is supplied. Water and soft drinks on ice are
supplied.

When
we first moved here 9 years ago we met a 2 great Fishing guides,
Ramon and Bobby. Ramon has been fishing all his life and he tells
me that about 18 to twenty year ago he started guiding for tourists.
A very nice man... we often meet on the street and just chat. Ramon's
wife runs a day care and his life is on the water. Bobby started
working with Ramon about 15 years ago.
We have been using them both
with great success. Ramon and Bobby are independent guides that
we use and are not affiliated with any shop. |

personality is bright and fun and they have been just wonderful
to our guests . |
In 9 years we have never had a complaint...only
positive response and many ask to go out with them again. I don't
know about you, but I think that the personality of the guide is
just as important as the fishing trip itself. They have 2 boats and they are always clean.
So book early for these guys. |
| FLATTS
FISHING - Rod and Reel or Fly |
with rod and reel or Fly Fishing gear. Usually done at the Back of
the island (usually CALM there) Bone Fish, Permit, Tarpon
and other similar species will be the possibilities here! |
| REEF
FISHING. |
Either a full day (8hrs) or half day(4
hrs) Grouper, Barracuda, Snappers, Sharks and many other similar
types of fish. This is done on the reef on the ocean side
of the island. We sometimes call a full day a fishing picnic which
includes a great lunch cooked by the guides on the beach.
You can also snorkel on this trip. |
| NIGHT
FISHING - |
for Tarpon, Grouper, Jacks, Snapper and such. Sometimes
we get get Black Tip Sharks and others. |

If
you want some for dinner, the guide will clean what you wish.
Permit, Bonefish and Tarpon are always released.
Some Snook,
Snapper, Barracuda & Grouper are kept for the table. |

| HALF DAY flat fishing with spinning reels or fly (for Bone Fish, Permit, Tarpon and other similar species) |
$230.00 US for 2 to 4 people. Each additional person is $25.00 US
(4 hours from 7am to 11am) |
| HALF DAY Reef fishing for Grouper, Barracuda, Snapper Sharks and many other similar types types of fish. |

FULL DAY Flat Fishing or Reef Fishing
reels or fly. Includes lunch cooked by the guide and snorkeling if you desire. |
