This wonderful day begins at 7:00AM when you are picked up on your hotel dock by boat and begin your journey towards the mainland and up the Old Belize River . While you enjoy a light breakfast you will encounter crocodiles, iguanas and Howler Monkeys. You will also see a rich variety of flora. Once at Manatee Lodge we will hop on a private bus that will take you to the Jaguar Paw Resort.

Here our guides will take you along a jungle path up the opening of the Caves. Then it is time to put on your headlamps and splash into the cool water in your inner tube. You will float your way through cave systems where the Mayan People once worshipped. There are limestone and crystal formations which present wonderful photo opportunities, so bring your camera along! There are a series of caves that you can go through. If you select to do them all the trip is over and hour on the tube as you go from cave to cave.

Once back at Jaguar Paw you can change into dry clothes and enjoy a delightful lunch. Next it is on to the famous Belize Zoo where you will see the local animals of Belize in a natural habitat.

This is not your average Zoo and well worth the trip. Finally, we will return to San Pedro by boat as the sun sets (approx 6pm). Breakfast, lunch, water, beer, sodas, rum punch and snacks. All equipment and entrance fees are provided.
