Begin your day with an exciting boat ride to the mainland. As you wind your way through the Northern river, you will see orchids, cactus, a variety of birds, bats and other wildlife.

For visitors interested in bird watching, you will likely see green Aztec parakeets, Ringed Kingfishers and tropical Mocking birds. Once you reach Bomba village, you will have the opportunity to see some of the mainland scenery and enjoy the local craftsmen's wood carvings.

Maruba resort is a beautiful oasis in the centre of the Belizan jungle where you can relax or swim by it's beautiful pool or perhaps book a massage, a mud bath or go on a guided horseback ride. By mid afternoon you will leave Maruba on your way back to San Pedro.
